Matthew A. Hardy is a founding partner of Hardy & Juba LLC. He has been a criminal defense attorney for over a decade, starting practice in Ohio before moving to Denver in 2007. From 2007 until 2012, Mr. Hardy worked in the Denver Trial Office of the Colorado State Public Defender, where he gained crucial experience representing adults and juveniles charged with misdemeanors and felonies of all levels, including first degree murder. Mr. Hardy devotes the majority of his practice to defending juveniles and adults in criminal matters. Since co-founding Hardy & Juba LLC in 2012, Mr. Hardy has continued to zealously represent people accused of crimes in Colorado courts, working hard to get the best possible outcomes for his clients.

Michael Juba is a partner at Hardy & Juba, LLC, a law firm he co-founded in December 2012. Mr. Juba devotes the majority of his practice to juvenile representation and focuses on litigation involving direct-file youth in adult court. Mr. Juba regularly teaches at conferences and law schools about the Constitutional rights of children. Mr. Juba co-founded a non-profit called Learn Your Rights In Colorado (LYRIC), which teaches high school children their Constitutional rights when contacted by the police. 
Mr. Juba also sits on the Board of Directors for the Second Wind Fund, which is a non-profit that strives to decrease the incidence of suicide in children and youth by removing the financial and social barriers to treatment. Mr. Juba has been actively involved in the Board of the Second Wind Fund as the Board Secretary. Additionally, Mr. Juba is the Chair of the Board for the Colorado Juvenile Defender Center, a local non-profit that is dedicated to ensuring excellence in juvenile defense.
Mr. Juba volunteers his time to coach for the YMCA Youth T-Ball program. He is also a devoted father to his three young children. Mr. Juba is passionate about educating, representing, and helping children in and out of the courtroom.
